Beach House Park

Beach House Park is Worthing's Premier Park and the home of Flat Green Bowling.

Beach House Park is Worthing’s premier green space, known for being the home of flat green bowling. Purchased from the Beach House Estate in 1922, the park was opened to the public in 1924. It is situated between Brighton Road to the south and Lyndhurst Road to the north, directly opposite Worthing Hospital.

The park features five world-class bowling greens and a dedicated pavilion for local bowling clubs. The “Old Pavilion,” located at the heart of the park, is a charming structure that the council is aiming to revitalise for business use.

In addition to its renowned bowling facilities, Beach House Park boasts beautiful ornamental plantings, including herbaceous borders, a variety of mature trees, and seasonal spring and summer bedding displays. A picturesque line of ornamental Acer cappadocium trees leads to the historic “Old Pavilion,” enhancing the park’s tranquil and scenic atmosphere.
