This popular event is now open for booking online and will be bigger and better than before.

We strive to provide a fantastic array of diverse food and drinks. Because of the popularity of the festival, we will review each application individually and will invite you to trade if we feel you are right for the festival.

On the application, please include as much information as possible including photos of your set up and food or menu. Once the closing date has passed a decision will be made according to the current legislations in respect of food hygiene, insurance etc.

What we look for in successful applications:

  • Creative and aesthetically pleasing stalls to compliment the Food & Drink
  • Festival vibe.
  • Excellent quality food/produce
  • Offers of smaller portions for tasters or children’s portions.
  • A ‘Festival Meal’ offer, where traders offer a special deal of £4 per item. Traders can select which items to include in their Festival Meal/dish plan.
  • Accurate stall size this helps us plan the festival layout and allows for a many traders as possible. Please include tow bars and side doors.
  • A good social media following
  • Sustainable Practices in Food Production and Serving
  • Have allergen information documented in products and ingredients

  • Festival Menu (Required)
  • Allergen sheet (Required)
  • Public liability insurance (Required)
  • Gas safety certificate (Required)
  • Premises Licence for Alcohol (DPS) (Required)
  • Food hygiene Rating 5 ★★★★★ (Required)

How much is a pitch?

 

  • Outside pitch: £110 per day for a 3m x 3m space each additional 1-meter space will be £30 per day. 
  • Inside Marquee: (limited spaces) 6ft Table £100. Extra table £50 per day.
  • Alcohol Sales – for consumption at the event: £50 per day premium.
  • Electricity: £75.00 per day 13 and 16 amp only (please note this is for 2 sockets only).
  • All prices include VAT.

Cancellation & Payment Policy:

1. Trader Cancellations

All trader bookings are considered confirmed once a deposit has been paid.

  • If a trader cancels their attendance for any reason, no refunds will be issued.
  • Where possible and at the organiser’s discretion, fees already paid may be transferred to an alternative event, including BID local markets or other town centre events, subject to availability.
  • Transfers must be used within 12 months of the original event date and are non-transferable to another trader.
  • Failure to attend the event without prior written notice will result in forfeiture of all fees paid, with no transfer offered.

2. Weather & Force Majeure

Events go ahead in most weather conditions.

  • In the event of adverse weather (including but not limited to heavy rain, wind, or extreme temperatures), the event will not be cancelled unless deemed unsafe by the organiser or relevant authorities.
  • If the event is cancelled, postponed, or significantly altered due to weather or circumstances beyond the organiser’s control (including force majeure), no refunds will be given.
  • Fees paid will instead be transferred to a future market or event, which may include BID local markets or other town centre events, subject to availability.

3. Deposits & Payment Schedule

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a trading space.
  • If the initial deposit is not paid by the stated deadline, the booking will be cancelled and the space will be reallocated.
  • The final balance must be paid in full by the advertised final payment date.
  • Failure to pay the final balance on time will result in:
    • Forfeiture of the initial deposit, and
    • Loss of the trading space, which may be offered to another trader.

No reminders are guaranteed; it is the trader’s responsibility to ensure payments are made on time.

4. Organiser Cancellations & Event Changes

The organiser reserves the right to:

  • Amend event layouts, pitches, or timings where necessary.
  • Cancel or postpone the event due to safety concerns, licensing issues, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

In such cases, trader fees will be transferred to a future event, and no cash refunds will be issued.

5. General

  • All fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Acceptance of a pitch constitutes acceptance of this cancellation and payment policy.
  • Any transfers are offered strictly at the organiser’s discretion and subject to availability.
