Discover the creativity of Worthing’s thriving life-drawing community with Drawing Room: Create. Connect. Inspire, an exhibition at Colonnade House.
Founded by artist Wendy Barratt in 2016, Drawing Room began with weekly life-drawing sessions in Worthing and has since grown into a creative community led by four tutors. Their sessions welcome everyone from complete beginners to professional artists, offering friendly, supportive tuition and the freedom to experiment and develop.
This exhibition brings together work created by Drawing Room tutors and students, ranging from quick two-minute sketches to paintings developed over many hours. Expect a varied collection showcasing experimentation, dedicated study and different approaches to drawing and painting.
The exhibition features work connected with tutors Wendy Barratt, Martina Ziewe, Cecilia Lewis and Helen Masacz, alongside work from the wider Drawing Room community.
