We’re excited to welcome local traders, performers, and creatives to be part of the Worthing Summer Fête 2025 – a celebration of community, tradition, and summertime fun! Set against the backdrop of our beautiful seaside town, the fête will feature a vibrant mix of food, crafts, live entertainment, family games, and classic stalls.
Whether you’re a street food vendor, artisan maker, children’s entertainer, or performer with a passion for bringing people together, we’d love to hear from you. This is your chance to showcase your talents, delight local families, and be part of a cherished summer tradition.
Calling All Performers
Are you a musician, dance troupe, street performer, theatre group, spoken word artist, or family-friendly entertainer? The Worthing Summer Fête is the perfect stage to share your energy, artistry, and talent with a lively and welcoming audience.
We’re looking for engaging, family-friendly performances that capture the spirit of summer and community. From acoustic sets and puppet shows to roaming performers and pop-up acts, we want to hear your ideas!
Performer Applications Must Include:
- A short performance description
- Links to performance videos or social media
- Technical requirements (e.g., power, sound)
- Duration and number of performances
- Public Liability Insurance (where applicable)
- DBS Certificate (if working with children)

What We’re Looking for in Successful Applications – Worthing Summer Fête
To create a fun, family-friendly, and community-spirited event, we’re inviting participants who reflect the charm and tradition of a classic British summer fête. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Beautifully presented and traditional-style stalls that add colour, character, and a festive feel to the event
- Tasty and authentic fare, with a focus on classic summer treats, traditional British favourites, or homemade-style offerings from around the world
- Child-friendly choices and smaller portions, perfect for little appetites and casual tasting
- Accurate stall dimensions, including any tow bars or side openings, to help with our fête field layout
- Community-minded businesses with an active local presence, including social media activity to help spread the word
- Environmentally friendly practices, such as reusable or compostable packaging and mindful food preparation
- Clearly labelled allergen information for all food and drink items to keep our guests safe and informed

Pitch Fees – Worthing Summer Fête 2025
We’re committed to keeping our pricing fair and accessible while delivering a high-quality, well-organised event for all. Please see the updated pitch fees below:
OUTSIDE PITCH – FOOD, DRINK & OTHER TRADERS
- £90 per day for a standard 3m x 3m pitch
- £30 per day for each additional 1 metre of space
OUTSIDE PITCH/INSIDE MARQUEE – CRAFT & OTHER CREATIVES
- £40 per day for a standard 3m x 3m pitch/single or L-Shape table inside marquee
- £13 per day for each additional 1 metre of space
As this is our first year running the event and in order to encourage new small traders the opportunity- if you don’t have access to your own gazebo and tables choose that option on your application. We need vendors to be flexible on the setup of their pitch. Once we have final numbers we will know whether you will be given a pop up marquee and table or we may have a large marquee where all crafters & other creatives will be placed together. We are asking traders to bring their own pop up gazebo and tables where possible if they have them and only ask for this if necessary.
ENTERTAINER STALL
£70 per day – suitable for performers wishing to sell merchandise, promote their act, or interact with the public
CHARITY STALL
£25 per day – for registered charities and non-profit community groups
ALCOHOL SALES (ON-SITE CONSUMPTION)
£30 per day premium (in addition to pitch fee)
Applies to stalls serving alcohol for consumption during the event and off-sales
ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
£75 per day (13 amp or 16 amp only)
Please note: This fee gives access to 2 supply units. If more than 2 are required, please email events@worthingtowncentre.co.uk
Extensions may be used but we ask these be limited to 2 sockets per unit so as not to overload the supply
All prices include VAT.
