Obsessed with COLOUR, Sue paints in a vivid, abstract style, to express her wonder at the ever-changing, natural world. Applying vibrant pigments, she diffuses her images with a sense of awe and delight at the splendour of nature. She is known for expansive seascapes, dappled woods, bright dynamic flowers and iconic beach huts.
A fanatical photographer of moments in time, Sue will spend hours, if not days, scrutinising her photos and memories in search of the elusive essence of her initial, emotional response, which she strives to depict in her final art piece. She works with acrylic on canvas, pen & ink on paper and with fused glass.
The inspiration for her portfolio comes from her extensive travels in India, China, Cuba, Australasia, the USA, Europe and her little corner of England.
