Splash Point

Aotable landmark on Worthing’s promenade

Splash Point is a notable landmark on Worthing’s promenade, transformed into an exciting public space. This area features a grove of tamarisk trees, engraved slate boulders, imaginative seating, and an interactive water feature that is particularly popular with children.

The newly built beach garden is dedicated to the brave lifeboat crew and fishermen of Worthing who manned the boat from 1853 to 1930. It was officially dedicated by Peter Bottomley MP on 7th May 2012, with Peter Huxtable MBE responding on behalf of the RNLI.

In addition to the interactive water feature, visitors can watch artists at work in the East Beach Artists Studios, enjoy a game of volleyball at the sand courts, play crazy golf, or relax in the peaceful Denton Gardens. For refreshments, the beachside Coast Café offers a great stop along the cycle route that runs the length of the promenade.

With a variety of activities and attractions, Splash Point truly has something for everyone. It should not be confused with Splashpoint Leisure Centre.
