Get ready to feel the sand between your toes—Worthing’s Summer Sandpit is returning this August, and it’s going to be packed with sunshine, entertainment, and completely free activities for all ages.
Located in South Street, at the bottom of the Guildbourne Centre steps, the Sandpit will once again transform the space into a family-friendly, beach-style hangout right in the heart of the town centre.
Whether you’re dropping by for a quick play or spending the day enjoying everything on offer, the Sandpit is a must-visit this summer.
What’s New for 2025?
This year’s Sandpit comes with an exciting new line-up of events and experiences – and the best part? They’re all free to attend. Here’s what’s in store:

Drag Queen Bingo – Bold, brilliant and bursting with personality. A feel-good favourite not to be missed.

Morning Yoga – Start your day with a refreshing outdoor session on the sand. No experience needed – just bring yourself.

Guided Meditation – Take a mindful pause during your day, including special sessions during the Vegan Market weekends.

Hula Hoop Workshop with Chi Chi Revolver – Join the incredible Chi Chi Revolver for a fun, high-energy hula hooping session for all ages and abilities.
